#BreakingNews: Killeen ISD announces Brittany Nault as the new principal of Clarke Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year.

🥳 A Killeen ISD alum, Nault steps into the role with more than 15 years of experience in education, during which she’s focused her efforts around building structured, safe and inclusive school cultures that benefit both students and staff growth.

“The hiring committee selected Ms. Nault because of her strong instructional background and her proven ability to build a positive, structured campus environment,” said Dr. Jo-Lynette Crayton, assistant superintendent for elementary education. “Her experience and leadership style align well with the needs of Clarke Elementary and will support continued success for students and staff.”

Nault currently is in her third year as assistant principal at Cedar Valley Elementary. Among other priorities centered on student and staff success during her tenure as assistant principal, Nault served as the campus’ behavior coordinator, led the school’s Capturing Kids’ Hearts initiative, and provided mentorship for fellow coworkers.
